Created in 1970, the Postgraduate Program in Economics at FEA/USP offers a solid and pluralistic academic background, ensured by the scale and diversity of its teaching staff. Besides contemplating state of the art in various theoretical, methodological, and empirical approaches, the Program promotes reflection on the evolution of economic ideas. The Master’s and Doctorate courses aim to provide students with rigorous methodological training that allows them to understand and develop academic frontier research.

The Program has a highly qualified teaching staff, with research interests in a wide spectrum of areas and with publications in high-level specialized journals.
