Goals:
The main objective of this course is to get all participants in touch with both theory and conceptual frameworks that are involved in the emerging field of global innovation

Justification:
Global innovation is an emerging field of research. It is becoming more relevant as some important changes are ocurring in the global landscape:
1. Emerging markets are playing a more relevant role in the global economy;
2. Subsidiaries located in emerging markets are receiving global and regional innovation mandates;
3. Multinationals from emerging markets are also discovering new ways to compete through innovation with traditional players;
4. Clusters, Business Incubators and Technological Parks in emerging markets are important sources of innovation
